18/8/2017 – European Week of Regions and Cities (9-12 October): Registration open
Registration is now open for the 15th European Week of Regions and Cities, which this year will focus on the capacity of Europe’s cities and regions to catalyse and respond to change.
Around 5,000 people are expected to come to Brussels on 9-12 October, to take part in 130 workshops, networking events and project visits unified under the headline ‘Regions and cities working for a better futureΆ. The week’s events will tackle three main themes: building resilient regions and cities; regions and cities as change agent; and sharing knowledge to deliver results.
The programme is being developed by the European Committee of the Regions, 14 departments of the European Commission, other institutions, 180 regions and cities, and a range of networks and associations. The Opening Session of the four-day event will be held on 9 October in the European Parliament.
Browse through the programme and register online and follow the event on twitter, using the hashtag #EURegionsWeek.
