The EPAnEK’s Action “Open Malls” aims at strengthening the economic activity of urban commercial regions, especially at regions where important cultural resources and touristic development opportunities exist.

The Action refers is addressed to municipal authorities in co-operation with trade associations or with commercial chambers.

The Action’s total budget is 50.000.000 € and the co-financing rate can be up to 100%.

The beneficiaries of this Action of EPAnEK are the municipal authorities of the state and the Public Properties Company.
The Action aims at the reinforcement of tourism for visitors with special needs, through the improvement of the accessibility of the country’s beaches.
With the Action is subsidized the development of non-permanent infrastructure on the beaches in order to improve the accessibility for disabled persons.

Action’s total budget: 15.000.000 €
